Creating these cards feels like an act of listening…

“What image wants to belong?”

“Where does it want to go?”

“What other images want to join it?

“How do they want to play together?”

I often don’t know what the end is going to look like until I’ve reached it.

When I feel that sense of completion when a card is finished I’m usually like, “Damn, Mystery. Wow, girl. You did it again.”

 

Sometimes the cards feel like answers to questions I didn’t even know I was asking.

Like The Mystery is speaking to me through my own creations (usually dragging my ass 😅)

But sometimes it’s clear that a card isn’t even for me but the energy it’s infused with is so potent I’m like, “This is definitely for SOMEONE though.“

(Could be you 😉).

 

The Mystery has been in so in my face with the abundance of old magazines just being handed to me out of the blue for this project.

I imagine my spirit guides saying, “Maybe if we drop a hundred free magazines in her lap she’ll finally make those oracle cards with it.”

I started out this journey using whatever materials I had — my mom’s clothing catalogues, the Costco magazine 😂

I was looking at those free mesothelioma brochures like, “👀 I bet I could do something with that…”

But after being handed like a million old Tricycle, Vogue, and National Geographic magazines, I got a lil’ overwhelmed with all the abundance and have been deciding to pass on the free medical brochures (for now 😅).

 

The Mystery had to pull A LOT of strings to get you this message.

From getting me in the right place at the right time to collect the words and images that are tailored just to you…

…to getting me to sit my ass down and create it…

…to all the subtle synchronicities it took to get you reading these words right now…

The answers to the questions you’re asking now have been on their way to you since before you even knew you’d be asking them.
